• Household Garbage (Garbage generated generally from kitchen and bathrooms)
• Car Batteries
• Compost (Grass clippings, Bio-degradable yard waste not in plastic sacks)
• Tree Branches
• Clean Wood (Must not contain varnish, stain, paint, or glue)
• Small Dead Animals (cats, dogs, etc)

Tires:

• Passenger car/truck - $5.00
• Semi-truck - $10.00
• Tractor Tires - $40.00
• Scraper and front-end loader tires - $60.00

Whiteware:

• Refrigerators, air conditioners, freezers, dishwashers, etc - $10.00

Dead Animals:

• Adult sheep, calf & similar sized animals - $10.00
• Cow, horse - $20.00

Construction and Demolition:
Including: Rebar Concrete, painted, glued, or varnished wood, Electronics, Porcelain, Furniture, Mattresses, Carpet, Shingles, Paint if solidified, etc.

• Small pickup box or trailers - FREE (In District), $10.00 (Out of District)
• Small dump trailers or trucks (8.1 ft to 16 ft box) - $20.00
• Medium trailers and trucks (16.1 ft to 30 ft box) - $50.00
• Large trailer and truck (over 30 ft) - $100

Contaminated Soil (approval required):

• $60 per cubic yard

Items Not Accepted:

• Paint in liquid form
• Cardboard (take to crusher at IGA)
• Materials containing Asbestos
• Hazardous Wastes (one or more of the following)
  • Explosive
  • Corrosive
  • Reactive
  • TCLP toxic

Powder River County Landfill reserves the Right to Refuse any wasted deemed unacceptable.
More than 2 loads of large trailers and trucks require prior Commissioner approval.
Each category of material will be assessed the proper fee even if combined into one load.
Due to limited turnaround space semi-trailers with pups are not allowed.
